A SoloHaus can be built in 15 working days, in our factory in Telford for all the structure and frame, and then is transported to Shrewsbury for fit out.
The size of a SoloHaus unit is 8m x 4m x 3m.
The SoloHaus units are designed to be stacked – single or two storeys high. We install the staircases and walkways after installation.
SoloHaus has been specifically built for single occupancy and is intended to be meanwhile accommodation and as a stepping stone for residents.
SoloHaus is specifically designed for living, with the SoloHaus being handover fully furnished.

Planning permission for a SoloHaus is required and can be classed as permanent or temporary.
We can provide a complete design planning, site preparation, and installation package including external works, lighting and landscaping services.
All elements of the home are DDA Compliant.
Homes have heating and hot water provided via a shared air source heat pump communal system with individual billing.
SoloHaus is building regulations approved.
Each SoloHaus has an integrated rainwater system, where the drainpipe is built into the unit. As well as a mechanical ventilation system, which pulls air in to the unit and circulates / heats & cools.
SoloHaus is exceptionally well insulated, including walls, floors and roofs.
SoloHaus door and windows are secured by design with a fire exit from the rear of the home.
